Our Lady of Grace School began with classes being conducted at the American Legion Hall on Ridge Road, later moving to Highland's First Presbyterian Church.
In December, 1954, six classrooms were completed on Highway Avenue and a faculty of six, three Religious and three lay teachers, taught 294 children. By 1956, the building was expanded with a top floor being added and church services being held in the building's basement.
Today, Our Lady of Grace School occupies the three-floor facility which includes classrooms, a library, Computer Lab, Music Room and administrative offices.
Our Lady of Grace School, with the support of the school families, dedicated faculty, and the entire parish community of Our Lady of Grace, cultivates academic excellence and Catholic values within a distinctive educational framework. The major goal is to prepare students to respond to the challenges in their lives by:
Providing quality instruction.
Encouraging students to lead "Christ-centered" lives.
Developing a consciousness of the family of God by providing service to others.
Our Lady of Grace School has assembled a team of dedicated and concerned administrators, educators and parents whose sole role is the provision of a quality education for all students.

Parental involvement is encouraged to demonstrate to each child that all parents, children, teachers, administrators and religious leaders work together to create a caring environment.
