Welcome Dear Parents, As we begin a new year and make preparations for the future at Our Lady of Grace School, it is good to take some time to reflect on the choices we make that impact our lives and the lives of our children now and in the future. One important choice that you have made as parents is to choose a Catholic school for your child. Others who have made different choices for their children may ask, “Why a Catholic School?” As a parent who has chosen a Catholic school for your child, you instinctively recognize that every child is a gift from God. One of your most important responsibilities as a parent is to ensure that your children have every opportunity to develop their God-given talents and interests. In addition, forming your children morally and spiritually is of highest priority as well. By choosing to send your child to Our Lady of Grace School, you have chosen to blend your child’s academic and spiritual development in accord with the educational mission and ministry of Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church. Here at OLG, our dedicated faculty and staff are committed to an educational approach that nurtures the whole child in an environment of spiritual development, academic excellence, moral values, respect, and safety. In a few short weeks, we will be celebrating Catholic Schools Week. The theme this year is “Catholic Schools: Dividends for Life”. Those enduring values and long-term benefits that your children receive from their Catholic education include morals, discipline, knowledge, and faith. These “dividends” of a Catholic education are particularly important during times of change and challenge. By sending your child to Our Lady of Grace School, you have chosen to provide long-term benefits for your child that will continue to pay dividends for years to come. As we make preparations to celebrate Catholic Schools Week, let us take some time to recognize the gift that Our Lady of Grace School provides for our children and families today.
