Description

Our Lady of Grace school provides a quality Catholic education for students from preschool through the 8th Grade. Our Lady of Grace provides education in a safe and drug-free environment that is conducive to learning.

158 students enrolled in Kindergarten through 8th grade. (2019-2020)

Faculty

Our Lady of Grace employs highly qualified teachers, all degreed and state certified, a computer coordinator, a music teacher, an art teacher, a physical education teacher, a speech therapist (through NWISEC), librarians, teacher assistants, and a remedial resource/enrichment teacher.

Accreditation

Our Lady of Grace is fully accredited by the Indiana State Board of Education and the National AdvancEd accreditation body.

ISTEP+ Performance

OLG is rated an “B” school by the State of Indiana.

Curriculum

Our Lady of Grace School offers a core curriculum that is required by the State of Indiana. Our Lady of Grace also offers: all-day kindergarten, computer classes, algebra, physical education, art, music, band, and anti-bullying programs.

Spiritual Growth

To allow students to grow spiritually Our Lady of Grace allows students to participate in daily religion class, daily prayers, Mass twice a week, sacramental preparation, altar servers, lectors, and service projects.

Enrichment

Our Lady of Graces offers students various activities to enrich their lives: Band, Chess Club, Science Olympiad,, Spelling Bee Competitions, Essay Contests, Student Choir, National Junior Honor Society, Math Club, Boy Scouts, Purdue Challenger Learning Center, Book Clubs, Lego Club, Heart Association Jump-A-Thon, Sister Parish in Haiti, Project Angel Tree, Read-A-Thon, Student Council, OLG Outreach Food Pantry, St. Nick’s Pancake Breakfast and an 8th grade Indianapolis Trip.

Technology

Our Lady of Grace offers computer labs, wireless computers, interactive smartboards, promethean boards, additional desktop computers, a full library and a science lab, Chrome books are being used by every student in grades 1-8.

Special Services

Our Lady of Grace provides speech therapy, remedial assistance, learning & behavioral assessment and assistance, public health nurse, counseling service, hot lunch program, and after school care programs.

Facilities

Our Lady of Grace provides 20 classrooms including a pre-school building, a library, a music room, an art room, a science lab, 2 meeting rooms, a health room, a physical fitness room and a playground.

Parents

Parents at Our Lady of Grace are encouraged to participate in Home and School Association, School Board, and Athletic Board.

Athletics

Our Lady of Grace participates in CYO athletics: basketball – boys & girls, track – boys & girls, co-ed soccer, cross country – boys & girls, volleyball – boys & girls.
